Back in the early Eighties I was newly married and had just bought my second house. Flower Mound was growing past that small town with the E-I-E-I-O ZIP code and the town fathers finally granted a cable TV franchise. Of course we signed up for every conceivable channel, one of which was that newfangled music video channel, MTV.

Out of all the artists that I watched in those early days of music video, Talking Heads always stood out in terms of musical and visual artistry. Well, that and I thought that I was in love with Tina Weymouth...
