Summer
2004 was time for another family vacation. As has become our custom,
we were joined by our in-laws, all of their daughters and their
families. This year was also a celebration of Daniel's safe return
from duty in Iraq and we decided to take a cruise out of Galveston.
Our first stop was in Progresso Mexico on the Yucatán peninsula
followed by a day in Cozumel and a day in Belize. Click on any of
the pictures below for a full-sized view.

Bailey having second thoughts during her ascent |
I can't say that I blame her. The width of the steps was very shallow and the angle was steep. |

Getting closer to Galveston and return to reality |
The next morning when we were close to port our cell phones started going wild. While we were away a severe storm had hit our neighborhood and caused some significant damage. While our house was spared, we lost some trees and a good portion of fencing. |
